The UAE’s first national passenger rail service has officially begun operations, connecting Abu Dhabi and Fujairah with a travel time of around 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Planning to experience Etihad Rail but wondering how to reach the station? Abu Dhabi passengers can use dedicated shuttle buses connecting key locations across the capital to the Mohamed bin Zayed City Station.

Abu Dhabi shuttle routes

Etihad Rail has launched shuttle services to help passengers reach Mohamed bin Zayed City Station from key locations across Abu Dhabi.

The service includes the MR1 and MR2 routes, operating daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. with three trips to the station and three return trips back to the city. See the schedule here: https://www.etihadrail.ae/networks-maps-stations

The shuttle stops include:

MR1 route

– ADNOC Headquarters, Corniche Road West, Al Khubeirah Area

MR2 route

– ADNEC Centre, Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street, Al Rawdah

– Reem Mall, Al Reem Island

How much does the shuttle cost?

The shuttle service costs AED 10 and must be booked together with an Etihad Rail ticket through the official website. Passengers must hold a valid train ticket to use the shuttle.

Meanwhile, fares for the Abu Dhabi-Fujairah route start at AED 55 for Comfort Class and AED 120 for Premium Class.
